Let’s be honest:
We all want to get older—retirement, grandkids, early-bird specials at the buffet.
But nobody wakes up and says, “Boy, I can’t wait for my joints to sound like bubble wrap when I get out of bed!”
There’s a cosmic joke in there somewhere. You survive your reckless youth—seatbelt optional, sunscreen who?—only to be betrayed by your own knees in the cereal aisle.
As a Physician Assistant, Paramedic, former Firefighter, Police Officer, and an all-around guy who’s stared mortality square in the eye (and lived to hit the snooze button anyway), I’ve seen firsthand that “aging” isn’t just about getting older.
It’s about losing resilience at the cellular level.
And frankly, that’s unacceptable. I still have too much living (and inappropriate dad-joke telling) left to do.
Enter Peptides and Redox/Cellular Medicine…
Somewhere between my third mug of black coffee and trying to stretch like I’m 25 again (spoiler: I’m not), I stumbled upon the work of Dr. William A. Seeds and the team at Seeds Scientific Research and Performance (SSRP).
Short version:
-
Peptides = tiny protein signals that tell your cells to act younger and sharper.
-
Redox/Cellular Medicine = making sure your cells don’t just survive, they thrive.
Dr. Seeds’ approach isn’t about masking symptoms. It’s about reprogramming your biology to function the way it was supposed to, before your body started playing reruns from the “Golden Girls” soundtrack every time you stood up.
I’m still digging deep into his teachings, but so far?
Color me impressed.
We’re talking real anti-aging medicine — not “hope in a jar” or “take this pill and call me in a decade” nonsense.
Actual science. Actual results. Actual hope.
The Future: Not Botox, Not Fantasy, but Biology Better Understood
Instead of playing catch-up once damage is done, Dr. Seeds and the SSRP philosophy suggest we stay ahead of aging — by nurturing the very systems that keep us alive and kicking.
-
Think sharper thinking.
-
Think joints that don’t whine and complain like talking heads on the news at five.
-
Think a metabolism that doesn’t betray you like water pressure during a California wildland fire.
Imagine living with high performance longevity:
Strong, sharp, and slightly smug about how much better you feel than your 30-year-old self.
Want More? Boom Baby.
I’m diving into all of this—and more—on my blog:
“Peak A Boomer: Peak Health, Peak Performance. Peak A Boomer!”
If you want honest talk about:
-
Diets that don’t taste like regret
-
Workouts that don’t require hospital-grade ibuprofen afterward
-
Supplements that might actually work
-
And breaking down cutting-edge science without a PhD in molecular biology…
Then come hang out.
We’re building a tribe that believes getting older is mandatory—
but aging? That’s negotiable.
Stay tuned. Stay sharp. Stay young enough to laugh at yourself.
And if your knees pop louder than your music, don’t worry.
We’re working on that, too.
